2) Age-gating and access controls

• We require age confirmation during account creation and may request date of birth.
• We may block, restrict, or limit access based on location signals, risk indicators, or inability to verify age.
• We monitor for underage indicators (for example, inconsistent identity details or payment/usage patterns).
• We do not knowingly market to minors and may use technical measures to help reduce underage access.

3) Age and identity verification methods

To meet legal and safety requirements, we may verify your age/identity at registration, before withdrawals, or at any time. Verification may include:

• Government-issued photo ID (e.g., passport or driver licence).
• A selfie/liveness check to confirm the ID belongs to you (where appropriate).
• Proof of address (e.g., utility bill or bank statement) and/or payment method verification.
• Electronic checks via trusted verification providers and public/credit-reference data sources (where available and permitted).

4) Handling of ID and verification data

If we collect ID or verification information, we handle it in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and our privacy practices:

• We collect only what is reasonably necessary to verify age/identity and reduce fraud.
• Data may be processed by vetted service providers acting on our instructions.
• We protect data using access controls and security measures; only authorised personnel may access it.
• We retain verification records only for as long as necessary for legal, regulatory, dispute, and fraud-prevention purposes, then securely delete or de-identify where appropriate.

5) Underage use: suspension and closure

If we suspect or confirm underage use, we may immediately restrict the account, request additional verification, and/or close the account. Where permitted by law and our terms, we may void or cancel participation, refuse withdrawals until verification is completed, and take steps to prevent re-registration. We may also report suspected unlawful activity to relevant authorities when required.
